Let's try to get an easy understanding of .php files

As you can now see, the whole page is divded into three. Header, updates and footer. Now cut out the header from where ever you have saved it (index.html ect.) and paste it into a new notepad. go save as: header.php Same goes for footer, cut it out and paste into a new sheet. Save as: footer.php Now you should be left with only this: (This is mine, you'll be left with whatever your site updates look like.)

Next add this on top of the updates. (Or whatever it is that you have)

After that save the whole thing as : index.php
And your site should work now.
When you create a new page, all you have to do is make it .php (e.g. affiliate.php) E.G
